About Me My name is Eric Jay Sonnenschein. I have been a writer all my life, and an advertising copywriter for ten years. I believe a writer must lift a project and propel it . Or as my friend, Peter, says, "The writer pushes the ball forward." This is how it all began. After months of cold calls and closed doors, Bob Posner, a partner at Posner Advertising, asked me to write a brochure overnight. I wrote it, he liked it, and the client bought it. The next night I wrote a second brochure. The client bought that as well, and I had my first job. I started as a junior copywriter specializing in real estate, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and recruitment. For nine years, I have been writing pharmaceutical copy, Rx (ethical), DTC (Direct-to-consumer) and Managed Care Markets. If you want to check out my creative writing-novels, short fiction, poetry, radio plays, essays--or look at my art, please visit ericsonnenschein.com.
